Description
Aging military infrastructure is constantly in need of replacement and refurbishment. Sources of supply for mission vital items for both near and long-term sustainment is critical to ensuring a serviceable fleet. During the completion of the proposed effort, Mentis Sciences Inc. (Mentis) intends to develop sources of supply for the replacement and/or refurbishment of priority components within the Minuteman Program/Antenna Pedestal Assembly (MMP/APA) and Contingency Antenna/Pedestal Control Unit (CAPCU), as well as an evaluation of components on similar antenna systems. In conjunction with sub-tier suppliers, Mentis will develop detailed performance specifications to govern the refurbished and replacement components including all validation and requalification documentation. Mentis intends to provide documentation for all processes and operations, similar to a Source Approval Request, for the effort of producing serviceable components. Mentis will generate test methodology, where applicable, and provide a path towards qualification for refurbished, or replaced, parts to become serviceable components.
