Description
The efforts for base of the future (focus area 4) require the most relevant and up-to-date Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for accurate analysis to support and sustain improved workforce agility. This supports an environment for warfighter innovation through active interaction and improvements into the TTPs to ensure future safe and efficient operations. As example, a Line Operations Efficiency Analysis being conducted as part of base of the future efforts starts with analysis of the capability (e.g., airframe) to improve any supporting publications and guides, and then includes interviews with operators, maintainers and other supporting Airmen. If the publications and guides are outdated, so will be the analysis from these efforts. Supporting a dynamic, collaborative TTP provides innovative ways for the warfighter to continuously improve operations. Today, the USAF is using outdated tools and methodologies that lack adequate collaboration, proper information sharing, and visibility to produce advanced publications. Inefficiencies related to the publishing process lead to outdated and irrelevant doctrine being used by Airmen to support global operations and, by extension, increase vulnerability. Through a digital transformation of the publication process, we evolve sharing advanced TTPs across bases globally.
