Description
Certifying structural parts made by additive manufacturing for DoD applications requires evaluation of their stability, manufacturability, characterization of mechanical and physical properties, and predictability of structural performance. Accurate prediction of structural performance for durability and damage tolerance is the most challenging task that often requires post-manufacturing testing. In this program, an integrated project team will demonstrate an ICME software solution for component certification using modeling and simulation coupled with a suite of process monitoring sensors.
