Description

During an unprecedented moment in our history (COVID-19), addressing the heightened day-to-day needs of Airman and their families, providing services at the same or increased levels (e.g., ministry, counseling, healthcare, etc.), while maximizing social distancing is a unique opportunity for digital service delivery to make an outsized impact. BESPIN, has identified a unique opportunity to improve the military experience for airmen, military family members, operational commanders, and other employees while also delivering its mission in a more efficient manner. BESPIN has asked Magnum Opus Llc (d/b/a MO Studio) to create a rapid mobile application development platform service that will improve BESPIN’s capacity to address operational needs for custom mobile application solutions. MO Studio will collaborate with BESPIN to build an initial, working version of this solution that addresses one or more USAF force personnel needs (Focus Area 2), such as Tele-Ministry or Tele-Counseling (to reach airmen in before they’re in crisis). Our overarching technical objective is to translate the product vision our customer has (outlined in the attached MOU), into a valuable, high-quality, cost-effective solution, which is further detailed below: Valuable – meets the core needs of the targeted user populations, and can (potentially) start being used in a small-scale, live production environment. High quality –  the software is architected and designed using technically-sound practices, so that it can support the continuous delivery of value and ultimately be scaled to meet the needs of all user populations. Cost effective – the software is easy to evolve and maintain, and maximizes the use of commoditized, open-source technologies.
