Description

Almost every Air Force member has a horror story from staying at on-base lodging, whether it was from a quick trip or an extended TDY. In some cases the living conditions, customer service and overall environment are poor at best. In more recent years, this has caused increased failures in Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) due to pilots no longer experiencing sufficient living conditions. Airmen are forced to live a “hotel life,” isolated in a small room with only a microwave to help them prepare food. With the mental and physical toll this creates, how can our Airmen be expected to maximize their Air Force potential? General Goldfein, in response to this issue, stated “Our airmen and their families should have military housing that will not adversely impact their health and safety.” The Army has realized this problem and as of April 2004, privatized its lodging facilities. Military Crashpad offers enhanced lodging options for military members on TDY while saving the government money. Through improved living conditions and customer service, Military Crashpad provides the opportunity to improve the performance of our Air Force personnel by providing quality, fully-furnished, full-service off base lodging options that come at no additional cost.
