Parabilisnbsp;Space Technologies, a HUBZone certified small business, is pleased to propose the development of anbsp;high-performance hybrid rocket stagenbsp;fornbsp;trans-lunar orbit injection andnbsp;maneuveringnbsp;in response to solicitationnbsp;Z8.09,nbsp;Small Launcher Lunar Transfer Stage Development.nbsp;This effort leverages previousnbsp;successfulnbsp;NASA-funded Ramp;D atnbsp;Parabilisnbsp;for a ldquo;NanoLaunchrdquo;nbsp;hybrid upper stage. The proposed stage is economical, non-toxic, non-cryogenic,nbsp;restartable,nbsp;and willnbsp;delivernbsp;25 kg (ornbsp;larger) payloads into translunar trajectories.nbsp;nbsp;During Phase I, Parabilis willnbsp;perform analysis and trades tonbsp;arrive at a stage architecture that robustly closes on thenbsp;solicitationnbsp;requirements.nbsp;Parabilis will performnbsp;fluid system testing and work closely with a pump vendornbsp;to verify the architecture.nbsp;Parabilis will additionally design a prototype motor/feed system suitable fornbsp;hot-firenbsp;testingnbsp;atnbsp;Parabilisrsquo;snbsp;rocket test sitenbsp;in a subsequent Phase II.
