Perceptronics Solutions is pleased to provide its Advanced Integrated Resilience System (AIRS) Mobile Application solution to the problem of suicide and interpersonal violence within the USAF. Suicide and interpersonal violence are serious issues that require comprehensive and seamless prevention, intervention and post-intervention responses from leadership. In order to support readiness and build a more lethal force, leaders must foster and promote resilience among their Airmen and families.   Perceptronics Solutions proposes to provide the Air Force with its Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Technology Readiness Level (TRL)-9, Advanced Integrated Resilience System (AIRS) Mobile Application.  AIRS is a multifaceted intervention tool that provides instruction about and practice in using a variety of evidence-based cognitive, physiological and behavioral adaptive strategies for responding to stressful situations. An important feature of AIRS is the use of heart rate variability biofeedback to regulate neurological response to stress. AIRS has the potential to benefit the Air Force by providing quantifiable outcomes for a/an: Robust cross-platform technology for resilience training; Inclusive and easily understood content to increase personal resilience and emotional well being; Intuitive user centered design aimed at helping Airmen and their families perform better under stress; and Engaging and informative app to increases a user’s ability to maintain situational awareness.
