Description
This effort will prototype an Airborne Modernized Software Defined Radio that uses the Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA) and meets the size weight and power constraints of an RT-1505A version of the AN/ARC-164. The solution includes SOSA aligned software that allows the transceiver card to be used in multiple radio bandwidths and is adaptable and upgradable to meet new and changing requirements. This solution will demonstrate radio software that maps functions of the AN/ARC-164 Transceiver to SOSA reference modules.
