Description
In a Phase I SBIR, Pvilion proposes to assess the integration of a suite of our solar-powered fabric products into United States Air Force (USAF) units in order to provide mobile power, rapid deployment, durability, and adaptability. Indeed, solar-powered fabric, advanced mostly in the commercial markets by Pvilion in the last decade, answers many of the pressing energy logistics and operational challenges associated with deploying the world's most powerful military around the globe. Moreover, Pvilion's solar fabric offers unmatched scalability with potential applications ranging from small mobile charging products for individual Airmen to large scale fabric hangars suitable for a myriad of bare-base and more permanent-style USAF locations across the globe. During a Phase I, Pvilion will evaluate the technical feasibility of its products by garnering customer feedback, evaluating the range of possible USAF applications, and expanding the commercialization potential of the product.
