Description
The goal of this feasibility study is to demonstrate the efficacy of a digital diabetes prevention program for active duty Airmen with prediabetes. Based on high attrition rates in current in-person behavioral health programs provided by Air Force Medical Service, particularly among active duty service members, we intend to demonstrate reduced attrition through a digital delivery model that has been proven in commercial applications over the last two years, with minimal technical risk. We previously submitted for F191-005-1374 SBIR Phase I in February 2019, but were missing our CAGE codes, which had not arrived in time. In the debrief, we were encouraged to resubmit, given the demonstrated commercialization potential and existing solution in the non-defense space.
