Description
The national security enterprise often conducts operations in multiple domains, rather than using true multidomain/cross-domain operations. Adopting cloud storage throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) presents an opportunity for software-based solutions to vastly improve the state of secure communications and data transfer without additional costly or labor-intensive infrastructure. Current solutions, such as DOTS or SAFE, offer inadequate quality assurance and leave users unsure their activities will be successful. Rebellion will offer a cloud-integrated, cross-domain platform with an application programming interface for extensible application use. Rebellion can provide warfighters with prepackaged, highly secure, cross-domain solutions to connect different missions and move structured data, images, audio, and video to analysts quickly and simply. Technology delivered under the subject SBIR topic may contribute to solving this mission need. The main goals of this project are to conduct discovery and user research. This project will increase the Air Force’s and DoD’s understanding of Rebellion’s capability to provide cross-domain solutions.
