Description
In this proposal, we outline an automated solution for tasking and scheduling Air Launched Effects. In order to accomplish an Electronic Warfare mission, the following behaviors are defined: Decoy, DILR, and Disrupt. A set of notional operational scenarios will be described, and an exhaustive search will result in optimal schedules for each mission to be used as a baseline for comparing our decentralized technique. A further study will be conducted of how the coordination of these behaviors degrades as the permissive communication environment erodes, and the tasking and scheduling algorithm will be updated to perform in such conditions. Further simulations will be performed to test coordination of task recovery when unexpected circumstances occur, and robustness to changes in the mission objective, resources and/or constraints of the EW actors, and the number and/or distribution of actors. The proposed behaviors will be adapted and augmented from SSCI technologies developed under DARPA programs, including CODE/ACA, CDMaST, and CNAV, scheduled using the CBBA algorithm under development on the TIMPS program, and enhanced with game-theoretic electronic warfare algorithms from the AMDP program.
