Description
SSCI is delivering an end-to-end demonstration of Collaborative Mission Autonomy (CMA) involving a team of UUVs and, potentially, swimmers to accomplish a mission. The goal is to demonstrate intelligence for UUVs allowing them to perform tasks and execute autonomous behaviors not possible with existing OEM solutions. The threshold objective is to implement CMA in hardware and perform a limited in-water demonstration. The stretch objective is to develop a flexible system that allows swimmers some level of UUV control during the mission. There are two configuration items that comprise the system: a mission planning tool (i.e., operator console) and CMA software running on UUVs.
