Description
Computing signatures of missile maneuvers requires a challenging integration between multiple time-dependent fluid dynamics models along with missile flight information and freestream conditions. We propose an architecture for unifying trajectory and missile state information with the workflow that provides increased automation in calculation setup and interfacing between models, to ultimately produce time-dependent spectral and in-band imagery for the system under simulation. This architecture for calculating Transient High-Altitude Radiant Energy from Agile Targets (THREAT Architecture) will reduce the manpower burden required with interfacing sequential calculations and rendering, providing for rapid production of maneuver signatures. The architecture is meant to provide agility in profile generation, especially for emerging threats such as dim and maneuvering targets. Light scattering and alternative fuel radiation chemistry resources are also available to assist in ranking relevance of phenomena to be supported.
