Description
Sunshower is a general-purpose distributed computing environment for simplifying and unifying complex application and infrastructure deployments that use disparate orchestration, scaling and management technologies into intuitive, visual, low- or no-code workflows with full lifecycle auditing and powerful access controls. For satellite command, control and operations to be truly ubiquitous, software and infrastructure architecture must reliably and dynamically scale to manage proliferated satellite constellations and their payloads. Scaling can be a challenge in the simplest of environments, but the Space and Missile Center has additional complications: standardizing and managing applications from multiple vendors, deployed with different orchestration technologies and infrastructure, across sites with different clearance levels by personnel of varying roles and technological expertise. The Sunshower platform enables the fast, reliable automation of application and infrastructure deployment and management, so humans can be on the loop instead of in it. Sunshower simplifies the discovery, lifecycle management and orchestration of applications and infrastructure. Its low-code orchestration engine unifies complex, multi-environment deployments and gives non-technical users the power of distributed virtual machine technology through novel user experience workflows. Built on a plugin framework, its extensible and security-first design pattern makes Sunshower ideal for use in shifting, realtime settings.
