Description
The current method of stowing night vision goggles (NVG) on the helmet when not in use is a recognized source of acute and chronic neck injury. A mechanical mounting solution is required that reduces torque, increases clearance for scoped weapons, improves rigidity, and reduces overall weight. Such a solution would increase soldier performance and reduce the likelihood of long-term chronic injury.
