Description
Systems & Processes Engineering Corporation (SPEC) proposes a Forward Looking Seeker solution for hypersonic missiles that will survive the high heating rates and high pressures present in a hypersonic flight regime, while maintaining accuracy through significant flow-field density changes and aero-optic distortions (including shockwaves). Effort will include modeling of hypersonic environments and real gas hypersonic numerical simulations to estimate gas composition and temperature ranges for realistic trajectories and applications.
