Description
Triton’s innovative solution will add several new capabilities to existing torpedo countermeasure devices. The modified countermeasures will be able to detect the incoming direction of adversarial torpedoes and communicate this information amongst multiple torpedo countermeasures and the host submarine platform. Our communication solution will be robust in noisy and cluttered environments. The overall system will use relative positions of the countermeasures and adversarial torpedoes to provide spatial, temporal, and spectral defensive protection to the host platform.
