Description
The Triton team will develop a thermal management system to provide adaptive heating on-demand for liquid reserve batteries and other munition components, with the goal of enabling their reliable and effective use in extreme cold. The system will utilize structural energetic composites and heat-regulating components, optimized by computational modeling, to deliver the required thermal energy without overheating. The system will be shelf-stable, minimize added munitions volume, and be capable of withstanding forces resulting from gun-firing.
