Description
Triton Systems, Inc. and partners will develop an augmented reality (AR) headset for Navy and Marine Corps Maintainer use cases. Current off-the-shelf AR devices do not meet environmental, cybersecurity and data infrastructure requirements, preventing use in aviation maintenance. There are ongoing and planned developments of AR device uses but the Navy requires a hardware platform to field this increased functionality. Triton’s headset and security system will give maintainers safe access to these technologies, increasing their effectiveness by allowing them access to maintenance procedures and connections to subject matter experts.
