Description
As UAS teams are increasingly used to perform a variety of U.S. Navy missions in complex, uncertain, and denied environments, resilient autonomous capabilities and planning services are required that allow UAS to generate and execute tactical decisions satisfying operator-provided mission objectives and rules of engagement without constant operator involvement. Developed autonomy and planning applications, or Units of Portability (UoP), need to be able to operate with other interchangeable onboard UoPs. Thus, they must conform to a common and reusable software infrastructure. Venator offers a an Autonomous and Collaborative Threat and Engagement (ACTE) evaluator in a distributed data fusion architecture to support manned/unmanned teams (MUM-T) executing tactical missions as they operate within contested environments.
