Description
Air Force training operations are uniquely challenging due to the demanding requirements and safety considerations for flight readiness. Training through computer-based exercises and simulators is effective at teaching a wide variety of skills, including flight training. A combination of technological advancements has developed into an unprecedented opportunity for more effective, efficient, inexpensive, and rapid training. To take advantage of modern technology trends, ATC-NY will develop SimCYRIN, a software system for deploying and monitoring advanced training simulations and exercises. SimCYRIN builds off of ATC-NY’s CYRIN cyber range technology to produce valuable, accessible VR-based simulated experiences with a low barrier to entry for both instructors and trainees.
