Description
Olis Robotics has developed OlisOS, a Command and Control (C2) Operating System (OS) for remote operation of robotic manipulators attached to mobile platforms. OlisOS enables increases in operator efficiency, increasing autonomy in the field, and performing verification and validation in-situ with the fielded system. OlisOS is being sold to oil and gas customers for C2 of manipulators attached to subsea ROVs. The Air Force has identified the need for in-space Servicing and Assembly (iSA) of space assets and proposed it’s demonstration through programs such as XST. In the Phase I of this effort, Olis Robotics work with the Air Force to identify an appropriate demonstration of OlisOS for iSA. In the Phase II effort, Olis Robotics will carry out the demonstration and work with the Air Force to efficiently transfer the OlisOS technology for use in Air Force applications.
