Description
The Phase I SBIR will develop a strong set of cyber security fuzzing techniques for a predetermined data bus interface from which the user can select to execute a cyber security test. During the development of the prototype tool, requirements for the user interface will be developed with input from the user, to define the control, monitoring, fuzzing technique selection, and test execution capabilities. The development will continue with design and implementation of the interface and the fuzzing techniques. Insight into the process will be provided on a frequent basis to afford the customer the ability to steer the development process in small increments providing small course corrections. The software user interface prototype will provide a robust set of initial monitoring and interacting/fuzzing techniques which will lay the foundation for developing a full-featured tool in Phase II. In parallel with the software development process, the hardware requirements for the interfaces, processing, storage, and power will be documented. The hardware requirements will be used in Phase II to prototype an example implementation.
