Description
The electromagnetic signature of communications is readily obtained with today's advanced signal processing. Warfighters and their command centers are now at risk when they transmit because of the ability of adversaries to intercept the transmission and perform radio direction finding. This project identifies countermeasures that can be added to military waveforms to either mask the transmissions or degrade the performance of radio direction finding equipment and algorithms.
