Description

While there are numerous systems designed to provide inventory, identification, and security for end-user computing devices there is a significant gap in providing cybersecurity controls to non-end user computing devices such as IoT devices and the real time compute systems commonly deployed throughout distributed weapons systems. Consul has delivered IoT device security capability to major commercial enterprises such as Mayo Clinic, Tesla Motors, and the University of California. This proposal aims to bring these capabilities to the DoD for critical device-centric networks in production weapon systems, clinical healthcare, and secure facility management. We believe that by securing this vulnerable perimeter with Dod device-specific libraries and DoD focused training, management, support, documentation, and cross-domain deployment models we will enhance the cyber-network defense capabilities of the systems the warfighter depends on daily.
