Description
During the proposed Phase I research and development effort, the project team will conduct a study to identify and document Missile Defense Agency’s requirements for an innovative air, sea, and ground-mobile launch platform solution that would reduce fielding infrastructure costs and is capable of launching all target missile systems. The project team will design an operationally safe, reliable, and modular mobile launch capability that is range-independent. Range-independence will allow the system to achieve a streamlined deployment of target vehicles from ground, sea, or air anywhere in the world. The project team will fabricate and test a sub-scale prototype of the system. The proposed project will end with the development of a preliminary for complete system development and qualification.
