Description
Fibertek is advancing the technology of our commercial compact bidirectional CubeSAT laser communication terminal (LCT) for multiple orbital regimes ranging from LEO to GEO. Optical and electrical sub-system technology will be upgraded to meet the operational radiation-tolerance requirements for all orbit regimes. The LCT system will demonstrate adjustable data rates, eyesafe beacon pointing and tracking, and compatibility with commercial optical ground station networks. In Phase II, a Prototype flight LCT will be fabricated and tested.
