Description
Global Circuit Innovations, Inc. (GCI) has developed innovative proprietary technologies available to the USAF that can provide solutions for obsolescence in military electronic systems. GCI will utilize these commercially successful technologies that already benefit the gas and oil industry to provide microcircuits with proven durability in aggressive environmental conditions to the USAF. GCI is not designing new components, or promoting redesign with the time delays and costs for various qualifications, but will acquire Original Device Manufactured (ODM) microcircuits to engineer methods to allow these components to perform as required with form, fit, and function abilities. For this effort, GCI plans to address an obsolete microcircuit, brought to our attention by the OO-XX. This microcircuit is a Digital Timing Generator used in the USAF F-16 Radar system, which is no longer available in reliable markets. GCI will use the original Source Control Drawing to identify details of the requirements of this microcircuit and to generate the replacement. GCI will generate a project plan for manufacturing a replacement of this microcircuit in Phase I. It will acquire documentation for comparison between the original component and the proposed prototype to prove feasibility and to validate the concept for an accelerated solution.
