Description

The proposed HarpoonX solution includes a four part statement of work executed over a 25-month Period of Performance, memorialized in Quarterly Status Reports and an Annual Final Report. HarpoonX offers 1) training of USAF personnel on how to interact entrepreneurs and startups in the innovation ecosystem; 2) scouting and sourcing best-in-class startups using methods of Tier-1 venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed Venture Partners; 3) identifying matching funds for the USAF SBIR Program's new Phase II RAPID mechanism; and 4) managing Limited Objective Experiments on behalf of US Naval Special Warfare Command for Harpoon scouted, and SBIR funded, startups. We solved training, scouting & sourcing, and funds matching problems by providing access to top-tier venture capitalists, methods, and their networks, to help AFWERX accomplish startup engagement. We will recognize a profit by charging private companies, including investors and accelerators, for our market diligence services. Our mission is to bridge a gap between DC and Silicon Valley enabling the US to compete with near-peers.
