Description
In this proposal we introduce an overall solution for simulating high-fidelity, multi-channel, RF clutter signals to support advanced testing of the E2-D radar. Our approach leverages ISLs existing RFView(TM) radar simulation software which is built on decades of high-fidelity, site-specific radar clutter modeling and simulation experience. RFView(TM) models radar clutter in land, sea, and littoral environments and has been evaluated relative to experimental data from VHF to X-band frequencies. Recently, RFView(TM) was extended to support real-time radar hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing via ISLs novel Real-time Electromagnetic Environment Simulator RTEMES(TM) technology.
