Description

To address the Air Force’s need for a form-fit-function replacement Video Display Terminal (VDT), Physical Optics Corporation (POC) proposes to logically extend the achievements accomplished in the Revolutionary Avionics Display Phase II Enhancement (RAD-IIE) contract by executing the MC-130J Video Display Terminal (VDT) Follow-On Phase II (VDT-II) effort. During the VDT II effort, POC will build on system engineering, component and subsystem development, and long-lead planning completed during the RAD-IIE effort by establishing the quality management processes and completing qualification of the VDT system for transition to Phase III production. POC will utilize our in-house quality management system (QMS) to establish a quality assurance (QA) plan in accordance with standard policies, procedures, and processes. Furthermore, the VDT designs and engineering releases will be placed under configuration management (CM) control. The VDT-II effort will ensure that the VDT has the processes established and qualification testing completed in order to meet AFLCMC/WIU schedule needs and target performance goals. In the follow-on Phase II POC will develop, qualify, and transition the VDT to manufacturing leading to Phase III production.
