Description
Intelligent Automation, Inc. (IAI) proposes to expand on its existing portfolio of micro IFF transponders and cover the specific IFF requirements for the Army Shadow UAS. The current incarnation of IAI’s MIFFT is capable of receiving interrogations as required (Mode 1, 2, 3/A, C, S, 4, 5) providing the related replies, and managing the ADS-B In (ADS-B, TIS-B and FIS-B messages) and ADS-B Out messages complying with the RTCA DO-160B and DOD AIMS 03-1000B standards. The transponder also houses an embedded crypto, while staying within the micro form factor desired by the Army. In Phase I, IAI will work with the Army to tailor the MIFFT to their UAS platform needs.
