Description
The Joby Aviation S4 is a five-seat all electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft that uses six vector thrust propellers on a fixed wing and stabilizer. It can achieve 150+ knots in cruise has approximate range of 150 miles and is 100x quieter than a helicopter. The aircraft is piloted and uses a unified flight control system for extremely simple vehicle operations (SVO). Operating costs are substantially lower than traditional aircraft making it an attractive transportation solution to alleviate growing global congestion problems.
