Description
Increased competition and improved lead times are desired by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to facilitate NESO in supporting the needs of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy nuclear communities. Mainstream Engineering has carefully reviewed the technical data package for NSN 4810-01-269-4808 provided in the solicitation and is confident that we possess the manufacturing capability, quality management, configuration management, and logistics necessary to become a secondary supplier. In Phase I, we will develop internal technical data packages, produce and inspect prototypes, and develop source approval request (SAR) applications to be reviewed with DLA. In addition, we will perform a low rate of production run that constitutes the provided annual volume and deliver the components to DLA for inspection and evaluation.
