MAXENTRIC TECHNOLOGIES LLC — Department of Defense SBIR Phase I: SCO182-004

Description

To meet the demands of the SCO182-004 SBIR solicitation (“High Acceleration and Hypervelocity Radiofrequency Communications and Sensing”), MaXentric proposes a dual band software define radio architecture. The design will leverage MaXentric’s expertise in transceiver and radar system design. Beam forming will be used to improve performance and reduce the probability of signal interception. The system will be designed to survive the gun launch environment and operate in hypervelocity flight. To meet the target SWaP requirements of the target projectile platform, MaXentric will leverage the latest solid-state electronics. In Phase I, MaXentric will perform a study involving analysis, modeling and simulation to design and estimate the performance of the proposed radio/seeker. During Phase II, the two prototype RF seekers will be developed and delivered.
