Description
Mira Labs, Inc. ("Mira") has developed augmented reality (AR) smart-glasses that vastly increase worker productivity and enable knowledge transfer within businesses and the US military. Our proposed solution will enable Airmen to conduct training exercises in AR. By enabling trainees to view a heads-up display while keeping their vision unobstructed and hands, Airmen can have access to rich, virtualized training experiences that keep them engaged in their physical environment. This technology has an array of applications that can improve training for warfighters across functions and Department of Defense branches. Mira will use these Phase II funds to modify its existing commercial solutions to function for Android handsets to support the USAF’s security and integration needs.
