Description
NPS Radar LLC has developed the algorithms required to create the world’s best performing massive antenna/sensor array, radar system. The radar solution will be smaller, lighter, and have 100x better resolution than the current best state of the art radar utilizing both hardware and software technological breakthroughs. Using AMA (advanced mathematical algorithm) technology, NPS expects to achieve 12dB improvement in detection when compared to optimal correlators. With NPS’s distributed 2D array design and algorithm, angular resolution of weapon systems is drastically improved. Specifically, target separation is 10x-25x better than the currently deployed radar systems. The methodology used allows for off-grid measurements; essentially providing infinite precision. The architecture will provide for a weight and power reduction of 70% over current state of the art radars.
