Information operations have become critical in hybrid warfare for both great power competition and counter-terrorism. Disinformation campaigns run by the United States’ adversaries, -- notably Russia, Iran, and ISIS -- have taken advantage of the unrestricted nature of the Internet to attack American democracy and national interests. Omelas stops threats emanating from the online information operation through detecting offensives and measuring the effectiveness and performance of information operations. Coupled with media including radio and TV broadcasts, HUMINT, and GEOINT, Omelas’ platform allows MISO operatives to understand which adversarial campaigns -- amongst both state and non-state actors -- have the most effect. The platform also uses A/B split test to micro-target the adversary population and measure the effectiveness and performance of these campaigns. While many of the analytics are created from ML/AI, the platform is designed specifically with a human in the loop to ensure maximum effectiveness.
