Description
The B-52 bomber legacy simulator, the Weapons Systems Trainer, lacks ability to represent a critical capability found in the aircraft, the Litening Advanced Targeting Pod developed by Northrop Grumman. The 307th Bomb Wing, responsible for formal aircrew training to include Initial Qualification, requires a low-cost, Virtual Reality or Gaming solution to fill this critical gap - the legacy simulator is not capable and teaching basic skills in-flight training is a costly option.
