Description
USAF Special Tactics and Battlefield Airmen Pararescue (PJs) medics have no reliable way to remotely consult with a Doctor/transmit critical patient data from the field to a higher echelon of care. These problems are magnified when treating multiple patients. The VER telemedicine platform solves most of these problems, providing the ability to conduct a complete virtual exam of a patient anywhere on the globe while simultaneously transmitting and storing diagnostic data. As requested by existing AF PJ customers, RHS intends to integrate an ATAK Plug-in for team and multi-casualty situational awareness, integrate a digital Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) card for streamlining care documentation workflow, and add a telesurgical capability via the integration of Augmented Reality glasses. Remote Health Solutions has successfully deployed the Technology Readiness Level (TRL)-9 commercial VER product line across our enterprise client base to both government and commercial customers. The VER already solves a critical problem for the AF (lack of reach back and transmission/storage of patient data) and these recommended enhancements will further improve situational awareness, streamline documentation workflow, and provide the AF with a new, remote telesurgery capability.
