Description
The purpose of testing cybersecurity during operational testing is to assess the ability of a system to enable operators to execute critical missions and tasks in the expected operational environment. OT&E performed by AFOTEC offers fact-based, quality data in its test reports to inform decision makers on a range of assessments of effectiveness, suitability, and whether a system is fully, partly, or not mission capable. Securboration is targeting these results as input for enhancements to our vFortified system. Once implemented, Securboration intends to confirm that our vFortified system can be used to verify required AF Cyber Policies, including but not limited to, our already embedded capabilities. We intend to augment AFOTEC’s IAT cyber planning, testing and assessments by including vFortified scan reports as input to the IAT planning processes and as a verification tool for IAT suggested mitigation efforts. We are confident that vFortified can be enhanced to parse and ingest IAT assessment reports into our continuous mitigation monitoring and reporting capabilities by automatically updating vFortified cyber policies and monitoring endpoints. This enhanced capability will provide continuous monitoring coupled with timely reporting aligned to mitigation suggestions put forth by the Blue and Red Team’s reports.
