Description
Sketchbox 3D (San Francisco, CA) is a revolutionary company specializing in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Sketchbox is a design and collaboration tool that’s used primarily for designing AR/VR training simulations and applications. Sketchbox offers this AR/VR technology to their beta users which include IBM, 3M and Stanford University. We have raised nearly $2 million in venture capital to date, and if selected for a SBIR Phase II, Sketchbox has an additional commitment of up to $5 million in private capital to contribute to the success of this project. Sketchbox’s technology has been designed for extensibility and interoperability with existing training systems. It can ingest 3D data in any format, work with any input device and transfer player data to/from other training systems. Sketchbox’s AR/VR technology has a variety of commercial applications and can be developed to provide the USAF with a cost effective AR/VR training system that can be quickly adapted. Sketchbox’s groundbreaking technology will enable the USAF to deliver rapid response AR/VR training for both military and commercial operations, and as a result will increase safety and mission efficiency.
