Description
In response to SBIR solicitation AF191-022, entitled “Improving Transparency of Object Tracking Technology for RPA Sensor Operatorâ€Â, SoarTech, teamed with operational SMEs at UAS Consulting Group propose to develop CLEAR (ContextuaL Explanation And Reasoning), an intelligent transparency tool which will improve automated object tracker transparency with the goal of development of calibrated trust and lowering visual attention demands of a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Senor Operator, thus ultimately enabling a single operator to manage multiple sensor payloads. By combining an innovative explainable AI technology with contextual reasoning and an intuitive, salient display, CLEAR will make a significant contribution to improving the interaction between sensor operators and object tracking technology, eventually enabling a single operator to monitor multiple video streams, incoming from multiple semi-automated aircraft.
