Description
The Spectral Labs Incorporated (SLI) proposed Next Generation High Energy Detector modernization program seeks to support continuing future viability of the HECT system by providing a modern replacement for the aging detector designs, allowing for improved imaging performance and reduced life cycle costs. SLIs Phase I development program will help mitigate risk while retaining the potential for significant detection performance and cost improvements by designing, developing, and testing a comprehensive range of detector concepts that will enable choice of the optimum Phase II HECT Detection System that will result in dramatic increase in performance and novel capabilities far into the future.

Spectral Labs staff members have over a century of experience in development, design, and delivery of non-intrusive inspection systems for large cargo and vehicles, with demanding detector requirements and challenging mechanical designs. In order to meet the challenges of providing a modern detector design capable of being successfully delivered for either legacy HECT systems or as a component of a next generation inspection system, SLI has assembled a diverse team with extensive experience in detector and inspection system design, engineering, manufacturing, and deployment.
