Description

SMI leads the Modular Container Building industry with strong, green, affordable and flexible configurations. SMI’s MCB conform to federal code and yield multiple benefits to the AF, including: MCBs are relocatable; self-containable with heating and air conditioning; minimum two points of egress; lockable both interior and exterior, thumb turn with key lockset; exterior windows open, close, and lock; capable of resisting seismic conditions; floor live load capacity based on office occupancy; meet snow and wind loads, and Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures (ASCE/SEI 7-10). SMI’s MCBs are agile, modular built constructs because they are substantial and cost efficient that improve infrastructures to a higher density. Penetrations for multiple communications systems are available to run exterior conduit and cables into one or multiple modules. SMI MCBs provide robust interior configurations allowing for multiple independent offices, common areas for modular office furniture, and even conference areas. Overall seating is flexible meeting customer requirements. Interior walls allow for hanging of white boards, pictures, signs, coat hooks, and similar common interior features. Interior partition walls have sound attenuation equivalent to any customer requirement.
