Description
This SBIR Phase II project completes the development and validation of a Gen 2 beacon, develops a ruggedized automated ground station and matures the central control center software environment. This project is divided into two phases: Phase II (base) completes development of the Gen 2 beacon and ground station, explores alternative power sources and culminates in a full space qualification test program; Phase II (option) focuses on system testing with multiple ground stations and the control center; and Phase III delivers an operational system.
