Description

The Combat system test bed High performance computing Architecture independent Dynamic Scheduler (CHADS) is a proposed solution for SBIR N191-019. The design is loosely based off of HTCondor, an open source priority-based command-line task scheduler, with significant additions. The primary major technical contribution of this design is that performance statistics are educed over time for the target architecture on a per-model basis, resulting in a fine-grained optimization of hardware resource allocation to vastly improve runtime performance. The secondary major technical contribution is that the design will be architecture independent, allowing for nearly any potential piece of server equipment to be utilized. The third major technical contribution is that security and Information Assurance (IA) will be heavily factored into the design so as to be fully compliant with the RMF standard, allowing for ease of use within DoD spaces.
