Description

Transparent Sky LLC (TSky) and UltraHiNet LLC propose algorithms and hardware designs for precision computation in real-time of 3D (RT3D) models using low size, weight, and power (SWaP) architectures. will achieve the following:Examine existing data sets and collect new ones to properly simulate the final product.Determine if the candidate CPU/GPU can perform the task or if changes are desired.Determine what improvements should be made to the University of Missouri Bundle Adjustment for Sequential imagery (BA4S) algorithm for speed and SWaP constraints.Integrate UltraHiNets multiresolution techniques to further improve speed/reduce SWaP.Generate surface models from resulting point clouds.Provide a demonstration to the Navy/USMC showing energy efficient computation of high-fidelity terrain models from imagery similar to the desired UAV. This includes models and compressed models.Produce focused report on proposed methodology and algorithms, expected performance metrics, external data required, and development/execution constraints perceived.Plan commercialization efforts for Phase II, beyond those already begun by Transparent Sky. will build prototype hardware, develop production-quality algorithms and supporting software to implement Phase I results. These will be demonstrated in realistic environments with performance metrics relevant to DoD and commercial use cases.
