Description
UAVs tasked in complex, uncertain environments need the ability to act dynamically and autonomously to changing conditions. Deep reinforcement learning can play a critical role in the decision making process, melding the mission/tasking parameters, scene understanding, and human-in-the-loop inputs for intelligent autonomous navigation that is robust in the face of latency, broken communication, and threats. UtopiaCompression proposes to use the latest advances in deep learning, including reinforcement learning, to support the DoD in this mission.
